I almost bought this online but saw it in the store...looks better in the picture. The coloring of the material is 1980-ish. And it has big cheapo clear buttons. This is definitely not a business suit. I tried it on just to see if I could "make it work." The fit actaully isn't that bad but I just could not deal with the overall look. If it came in another color I would have considered it and changed the buttons.

I had the jacket and pants already, and got the skirt on sale at my local Target. Wore the jacket/skirt together LOTS of compliments. It is a good professional look.

I first saw this skirt in the store, liked it but couldn't find my size so I ordered it online. In my opinion, Isaac Mizrahi's sizing is on the generous side. I tend towards a 4, but even the 2 has a little extra room. I love the midweight cotton and the neutral shade for Spring/Summer wear. There is a matching jacket that would make for a very stylish ensemble. According to my fashionista daughter this outfit is "so Marc Jacobs!"
